Not every great Kerry walking experience needs a week. Our guided day walks are a single-day way to experience the best of Kerry’s landscape — whether you’re staying locally, passing through on a longer trip, or simply want to explore somewhere properly before committing to a multi-day holiday.
Each day walk is led by Fergal Harrington, a qualified Mountain Leader with deep knowledge of the Iveragh Peninsula. Routes are chosen based on the day’s conditions, your group’s fitness and what Fergal thinks will deliver the best experience. No planning required — just show up, lace up and follow someone who knows every corner of this landscape.

The Wild Kerry Day Walking Escape is graded Moderate — suitable for reasonably fit walkers comfortable on uneven terrain. Routes can be adjusted on the day for the group. Private day walks can be tailored to any fitness level from Easy to Challenging.
