What makes an Álaind self-guided holiday different from just booking a B&B and picking up an OS map is everything that happens before you set out. Fergal puts his local knowledge into your hands — curated routes, detailed trail information, a thorough briefing and WhatsApp support throughout your stay. You walk independently, but you’re not on your own.
Based at Álaind Lodge in Sneem for the full duration of your stay — no moving accommodation between nights — you’ll have a luxury ensuite room to return to each evening, with breakfast and packed lunch provided and a drying room for your gear. All the logistics handled so the walking can be your only focus.
